Seafield Farmhouse offering Bed & Breakfast accommodation, situated
midway between Kinsale and
Clonakilty off the R600 in scenic West Cork Ireland. It has beautiful views of
Courtmacsherry Bay and Harbour View Beach in West Cork Ireland. We have breathtaking views of
the sea and countryside
from most rooms. This is a family run Bed and Breakfast and working farm, which has been
in the Fielding family for more then five generations.
A warm welcome awaits you with a cup of tea/coffee with fresh home baking
when you arrive. This is a very quite and tranquil area with only the birds, sea and cows to hear. The house sits on an
elevated site up a driveway off the R600 road (The main route for visitors to
South West Ireland) and approximately 15 minutes drive
from the Historic town of
Kinsale, with archaeological sites to visit such as
Charles Fort, James Fort, St. Multose and
Desmond Castle. Kinsale is known
as the gourmet capital of Ireland has many fine restaurants to offer. |

Seafield Farmhouse B&B is an ideal base for touring County Cork
including Cork city, Blarney Castle, Cobh Heritage
Centre, Fota House and Wildlife park and Jameson Distillery, at Midleton. Sites to visit in West Cork include Clonakilty Model Railway Village,
The Arigideen Valley Heritage Park, which explores the life of Michael Collins and
archaeological monuments such as Timoleague Abbey and Drombeg Stone Circle. Local amenities include Golf, the nearest being The Old Head of Kinsale Golf
Course, Pitch and Putt at Garrettstown where a blue flag beach can also be
found. Deep sea angling, sailing, fishing and windsurfing at Kinsale and
Courtmacsherry, Horse riding, bird watching and walking, all locally. Irish traditional music can be heard at
Kinsale and
Clonakilty on most nights.
Casino House Restaurant, one of the top 100 restaurants in Ireland is 5
minutes
walk from our house. The Pink Elephant Pub and restaurant is 1 mile.
Cork Airport and Ringaskiddy Ferryport are less than 1 hour drive.
